May and June marked a period of intense communication activity for the LIFE FOUNTAIN project! Our team worked actively to promote our innovative solutions for reducing PFAS pollution in industrial process waters. From direct stakeholder networking to technical dissemination, these two months allowed us to connect with industry professionals, showcase our latest developments, and reinforce the importance of safe, sustainable water treatment.

Key highlights from this two-month sprint include:

·        SurfaceTechnology GERMANY: The team featured both as an exhibitor and as a speaker in the prestigious Expert Forum, presenting the LIFE FOUNTAIN cutting-edge remediation technologies to an international audience.

·        OROAREZZO (Arezzo, May 9–12) & FASTENER FAIR ITALY (Milan, June 24–25): LIFE FOUNTAIN joined both major events as an exhibitor, strengthening connections across the jewelry, manufacturing, and industrial surface finishing sectors.

·        "GALVANICA IN EVOLUZIONE" Conference: We showcased the latest project achievements during the conference "Electroplating in Evolution – New standards for chrome plating and surface treatments: regulations, trends, and innovation", co-organized by chemical supplier UMICORE and our project partner Asfimet. The event gathered over 50 industry professionals, offering an ideal platform to present our PFAS remediation strategy to a highly engaged audience.

Looking Ahead

Our next major dissemination milestone will be a dedicated training session during P&E Coating Days - the event dedicated to technological innovation in surface treatments and organic/inorganic coatings - taking place at Kilometro Rosso (Bergamo, Italy) on October 7–8.

Led by our partners Politecnico di Milano and Gruppo Gaser, the training session will focus on the use of PFAS in surface treatments, the associated risks, and future management perspectives. The classroom session will be enriched with practical laboratory demonstrations.

Further details regarding this event will be published in the coming days.
