THE “FOUNTAIN TOUR” IN MAY AND JUNE 2025 WAS A SUCCESS

The communication and dissemination activities of LIFE FOUNTAIN were very intense in May and June.

Our partner AIFM-Asfimet, with the support of the partner Polimi, has been engaged in a number of trade fair dedicated to various market segments.

In particular, AIFM-Asfimet participated at:

-        LAMIERA (Milano, Italy – 6-9.05.2025), the international exhibition focused on sheet metal, tube and profile cutting, forming and processing technologies;

-        OROAREZZO (Arezzo, Italy – 10-13.05.2025), the reference event that integrates all Made in Italy industrial processes and technologies dedicated the goldsmithing sector and a platform of interest for the fashion sector;

-        TORNITURA SHOW (Vicenza, Italy – 5-7.06.2025), the Italian FIRST turning and lathe show.

At these events, the FOUNTAIN Project was promoted in person, by the distribution of flyers and the displaying of a rollup poster and/or the placement in the press corner of the magazine “Galvanotecnica e nuove finiture” containing the project advertisement.

In all the events, we saw significant visitors interest in our project: this demonstrates that the PFAS pollution is a cross-cutting issue which involves all the production sectors.

A special event to be reported is WME – Waste Management Europe (Bologna, Italy – 10-12.06.2025), the reference platform for waste management and the circular economy in Europe.

AIFM-Asfimet took part in the event as exhibitor and promoted the project at its stand:

Furthermore, Dr. Davide Ceriotti (Polimi) presented the advancement of LIFE FOUNTAIN in a speech titled “PFAS REMOVAL FROM WATER WITH MAGNETIC METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORKS (MOF)”.

About 40 people attended the presentation and comments and questions to the speaker were not lacking.

In general, our participation in WME generated a positive response: the innovative technology that we are developing within the project is attracting the curiosity of potential industrial partners.

The research is ongoing, and we are also focusing on addressing the critical questions that arose from the workshop.

In the next few months, we will update you with new developments.
